Abuses on Sanatan Dharma by DMK & Christians in Tamil Nādu
In the recent months, several cases of abuses by Christian Leaders of DMK have come to light. Whether it were by Tamil Nādu CM or his clans in Udaynidhi, A Raja or some others, none have tried to conceal their hates against Sanatan Dharma or Hinduism. This is a new trend that must have trickled down from their hatemongering clerics sitting in churches. They are not alone. The communists and other left-leaning groups are also joining their chorus. It is also true that erstwhile ruling political parties of TN are rattled by the rise and successes of non-appeasing BJP in the nation as well as in the state. The abuses are obviously their signs of inferiority and shattering of their narrative of being superior.
Tamil Nādu was ruled by Congress party in the 1960s but after they lost to DMK, they gradually dwindled down from the state politics. It is baffling of sorts that Hindu majority of the state are being largely ruled by atheist/Christian leaders of DMK and AIDMK alternatively for decades in Tamil Nādu. The leaderships have been somewhat inimical to traditional Hinduism yet getting elected repeatedly. It is essentially because of the absence of Hindu unity and lack of a credible political alternative. After Karunanidhi clans adopted Christianity, their relations with Hindus have changed. They are somewhat inimical to them. Political hatemongers of current DMK abusing Sanatani Hindus will surely have to pay the price of their abusive words & actions of discriminations and hate. The voting patterns of Tamil Nādu have been rather weird. Hindu majority voters know that both DMK and AIDMK leaders are either indifferent or inimical to their religious sentiments, yet they succumb to ‘money allurement’ by the corrupt political aspirants. Poverty among the common people in the state have made them lose their electoral conscience to the extent that make them vote for money even if getting abused by the elected leaders. Although there were about 87% Hindus in the state in 2011 census, it is believed to have fallen to about 82% today, still in high majority BUT divided on various issues which is being exploited by the political masters for decades. A few Hindu leaders elected both to state assembly as well as to Lok Sabha have been constrained by their party dictates from alleviating Hindu woes in the state. Hindu division was created first by Perriyar and then by the corrupt and radical DMK/AIDMK/Congress leaders of the state like Kamaraj, Annadurai and Karunanidhi. Most of the Sanatani Hindus of the state are victims of poverty, religious oppression and caste divide. Hardly anyone in the state has taken pains to unite them. After the recent abuses by DMK leaders like Udaynidhi Stalin, A Raja and some others, a few BJP leaders have taken initiative to travel through the state to awaken the largely sleeping Hindu ethos so as to unite them. They day they unite, DMK clan of devils could be marginalised in no time.
Discrimination and hate by major DMK politicians were observed during their Assembly electoral campaigns in 2021 itself when their dirty face of ‘radical anti-Hindu posture’ had come to the limelight. Thereafter, Rahul Gandhi praised and prayed a known abuser of ‘Hindu & Bharat Mata’, a Christian cleric named ‘George Ponnaiah’ during his so-called Bharat Jodo yatra passing through Tamil Nādu. Later, Udaynithi Stalin described Sanatani Hindus as Malaria & Dengue disease at a public meeting. It was surprising why Hindus didn’t cut his tongue if not head. If such slur had been against Islam, he would have been stabbed/cut dead sooner than later. It was even more surprising that his father, a shameless Chief Minister of Tamil Nādu not only defended his son but remained indifferent to even his abuses. These were not all. During the last parliament session, DMK MP Senthilkumar described Hindi-speaking states as “Gaumutra” States. It must be the extreme form of Hindu tolerance (likely to be termed Cowardice) that Udaynithi, his shameless father or Senthiklumar could evade both jail as well as an almost sure death if the utterance were against other faiths. Sanatani Hindus were further awed when Tamil Nādu banned direct telecast of Ayodhya Ram mandir ‘pran-pratishtha’ on 22 Jan 2024 even for private viewing when some Hindus had to seek court’s intervention. DMK leader A Raja went many steps further in abusing Hinduism when he uttered that he was enemy of Lord Ram and termed Hanuman a monkey.
It is no secret that DMK leaders are overtly inimical to Hindus of the state. DMK goons openly march of TN streets chanting anti-Hindu slogans. They either promote or are indifferent to the Christian goons of left parties chanting insulting slogans on TN streets against Hindu deities. They have been increasingly colluding with Islamists of own state as well as neighbouring Kerala to threaten Hindus with violence.
They knowingly exploit poor Hindus, keep them impoverished and divided on caste-lines. They encourage their churches to incentivise conversions through fear and allurements. It seems that fear of forcing Hindus to convert that came after Stains triple murder case 25 yrs back, are gradually receding. Christians in Tamil Nādu, Karnataka, Orissa, Telangana etc are far more indulgent today despite isolated cases of attacks on them than a decade back.
There are several reports of it as shown below. There have been confirmed report of temple vandalization and destruction numbering 250 as per some reports but authentic numbers of recently destroyed temples are unknown. In short, it can be said with reasonable truth and conviction that TN state govt is anti-Hindu by both words & deeds. Sooner or later they may have to face the heat of reaction / retaliation.
These parties are highly apprehensive of the Hindu majority, avoiding all possibilities that may unite them together. In past they have played caste card (by Perriyar) as well as linguistic card to prevent Hindi language an access among the mass. Few years back, Christian/Islamic supporters of DMK went berserk on social media to shame Sanskrit. Some ministers in the present govt have shamed Hindi by saying Hindi speaking people are only labourers cleaning roads and toilets.
It is fortunate for Stalin clan and family that Hindus of his state have not taken up arms against him for abuses. That is why they are repeatedly indulging and still able to roam around in the state & country even if under heavy security. However, in a Hindu majority nation, it is unlikely that a group or sect of different faith abusing the religious majority, their deities & faith in public will remain safe for ever. Retaliation or reactionary acts of the abused will catch up sooner or later. The same must be holding good for radical Christian leaders of Tamil Nādu too. In the recent years, too many utterances of religious hate against Hindu whether by Stalin clan, Christian priests or characters like Prakashraj or others have taken place. It will be foolish to assume that Hindu majority of the nation will remain indifferent or docile to such repeated abuses. It is possible that few cases of retaliatory substantial punishments will be given to create a ‘fear of restraint’ for the future. It is difficult to say whether such retaliation will take place in Tamil Nādu or elsewhere and when.

Sanatani Hindu majority of India and their deities are being repeatedly abused in recent years by Christian political leaders. Their priests are rampantly indulging in conversions of Hindus. States in which Hindus are abused the most, are the ones where Chief Ministers are either Christians or their political partis are thriving on minority appeasement. There are glaring Hindu conversions and Hindu deity abuses in such states. DMK leaders and Christian clerics in TN seem to be at the threshold of crossing ‘Laxman Rekha’ of religious intolerance. If it continues, it will only be a matter of time before the offended Hindus retaliate. It will better for all faiths to desist from abusing Hindus and their deities in any and all parts of India.
