Islamic Hate & Intolerance: Treat the Disease not Symptoms
Islamic intolerance is taking a very heavy toll on the world peace. Jihadists, the radical Islamists, are causing violence…both against various Islamic sects as well as the other religions and faiths. Several Islamic nations have been committing genocides against their own religious minorities, making them vanish. There are several other symptoms of Islamic disease…of widespread Jihadi terrorism...of forced conversions of non-Muslims...of mob violence against so-called blasphemous expressions…of intensely loud Azans…of Hijabs & Burqa…of skull caps & Lungi as expression of identities…controversies of eating Halal & Jhatka meats…of occupying public places for Namaz…of sacrificing Cows (worshipped motherly by Hindus) in India…of love-jihads…of pelting stones…and so on.
Religious Hate and Intolerance is manifest in several parts of the world. Every Human being and their communities perceive it differently. Those who succumbed to the disease for the first time in the medieval period, engulfing the entire Arabian Peninsula, are in their graves. Those who witnessed the genocide of the entire Arabian Tribes in the hands of a single man Mohamed whom the Muslims call their prophet, succumbed to it without telling their stories to the medieval world. Few converted to Islam willingly either believing the words of Mohamed or finding security of self and family in the prevalent lawless and vulnerable groups, always fearing attacks by the stronger groups. Numerous many were made to convert at the threats of their lives and yet numerous others who were done to deaths because they believed in their own faiths…And all these happened at the behest of Mohamed whom Muslims consider a prophet (read ‘Islamic Hate, Intolerance, Bigotry and Fascism’ https://articles.thecounterviews.com/articles/islamic-intolerance-bigotry-fascism-global-caliphate/). The early medieval period is long past but the ill doings of Islam continue even today because their religious books of Quran and Hadith are intolerant to the followers of non-Islamic religions (Read ‘60 Hateful and Intolerant Quranic Verses’; https://articles.thecounterviews.com/articles/60-hateful-intolerant-verses-quran-part-1/).
It is believed to be the Islamic dictum same way that the world witnessed the genocide of the Kashmiri Pandits in 1990 through “Ralive, Tsalive ya Galive”, or of the Yezidis in 2014 through “Convert, Flee or Die” (read looking back at Ralive, Tsalive ya Galive; the Kashmiri Genocide; The Counterviews; Issue 4:02[ https://articles.thecounterviews.com/articles/ralive-tsalive-ya-galive-january-1990-genocide-kashmiri-pandits/). Those painful memories are still fresh and alive among many but the world seems somewhat in denial of accepting it and hesitant to voice concerns at the bigger platforms. We Indians see it happening almost daily to our Hindu & Sikh communities in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh yet the world has turned blind eyes to it. Several of such secular democracies keep pocking their noses in the internal affairs of several nations in the name of Rights Violation through resolution in their parliaments BUT…there is no resolution against the Islamists who put the Pandits & Yezidis at perils. Non-action by the world bodies against radicals Islamists and Jihadists have led to a proliferation of over 170 such organisations the world over with just one aim...atrocities on the followers of different ideologies.
Islam might have been enforced by Mohamed and saved from disintegrating after his death by inserting a penalty of death for leaving, today it is the second largest faith in the world. Islam has many things good…like compassion for the fellow Muslims, remain united as a force, be subservient only to their Allah. It is other matter though, that Quran doesn’t draw equivalence among Gods of other faith equivalent to their Allah unlike the very ancient concepts of Vedic religion recognising “Vishwedevah ‘विश्वेदेवाः’, the many Gods of the world” or the most of the world faith recognising that there is only one almighty whom the followers of different faiths have given different names. In recent years Jews and Christians are trying to reconcile with Islam as ‘Abrahamic Faith’. However, there is a sharp difference in the approach by Muslims and the others. Hindus may be singing “अल्ला ईश्वर तेरो नाम Allah and Ishwar are the same” in their temples, Muslims never pay any regard to any other Gods in their prayers. In fact Islam is hateful to all other Gods when Quran quotes it in several of its verses like the followings:-
Hate & intolerance against the believers and followers of other religions are in Quran. This is causing the numerous conflicts in the world. They are so intolerant that they fight even other sects of Islam. Today radical Islam is responsible for the unrest the world over…Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Iraq, Syria, Palestine, Gaza strip, Egypt, Sudan, Nigeria, Mali, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, CAR and so on. Although there are some other reasons for the conflicts in several States, Radical Islam is the main reason and the intolerance is enshrined in their Quran and Hadith itself (read ‘Is Quran a surce of hate & intolerance?’ https://articles.thecounterviews.com/articles/is-quran-a-source-of-hate-and-intolerance/). So the disease of ‘Hate and Intolerance’ lay in Quran and Hadith and is spread over by the vector called the Mullah & Imams. It is these ‘Hate Preachers’ who spread hate against the believers of other faiths whom they term ‘kaffirs’. Worst, Islam has formed Jihad as one of its seven tenets with one aim…to fight for the cause of Islam…that we saw happening in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria. We see the crimes committed in the name of Jihad in Pakistan, Bangladesh…infiltrating into the adjoining Indian states. In every Friday sermons called ‘Khutba’, while they talk of Islamic brotherhood and compassion for fellow Muslims, they never forget to remind of the Kaffirs…and that Islam will prevail the world over. This is also the root cause why Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi of ISIS gave a call for Global Islamic Caliphate…and this is why Islam is at conflict with all if not most other religions and faiths in the world. The Mullahs have the highest regard of Muslims. In many countries, these Mullahs and Imams are the ones who can interpret the Quranic verses in their desired ways…radical when inciting the attendee and considerate when not. This may also partly explain the reasons for many violent indulgence after Friday Namaz. On an attempt to root out the radicalism out of the French mosques, it was found that several Mullahs belonged to the nations preaching open hate and intolerance…like Pakistan, Malaysia, Iran, Iraq.
The pathogens for disease lay in the Islamic (un)Holy books Quran and Hadith which have many verses of hate and intolerance against the non-Muslims. The Vector for the Islamic diseases are their radical Mullahs and Imams who spread hatred in their weekly Khutbas. Hence, present day manifestation of symptoms of Islamic disease in their many forms of jihadi terror, mass conversions, mob violence, loud Azans, Hijabs & Burqa, skull caps & Lungi, Halal & Jhatka, occupying public places for Namaz, sacrificing Cows, love-jihads and so on.
The treatment of the ongoing Jihad the world over is not only by rapprochement by the different communities but also by removing those verses from the books that Muslims call Holy. Hateful and intolerant verses of Quran and Hadith must not be let to be preached in non-Islamic and secular states. A Chinese model of dealing with such hate & intolerance of Quran may be followed where all Friday Khutbas are screened for hate elements by the authorities and Quran teaching is prohibited in children below age of 16 yrs. World needs to take a joint call against the Islamic disease.
