Should Israel Speak in a Language that Jihadists Understand ?
Jews, the Persecuted Community
Jews had been largely a peace-loving community right since its foundation some 4000 yrs ago, mostly in sparsely populated Middle East and northern African regions, in and around the present Israel. However, Jews as a small religious group have undergone several genocidal attacks by Persians, Arabian Tribal groups and later by Romans. After the Romans occupied their territories first, they were weakened to a large extent. After the foundation of Islam, the emerging Muslim Caliphs terrorised the region extending their barbaric rules to the vast extent of Europe as well. This finally led to Crusades I & II although there were other reasons too. During those periods, jews suffered the most. Muslims had dealt a severe blow with their “Convert, Flee or Die” ideologies, inflicting another genocide. Their religious site of ‘Temple Mount’ was vandalised and occupied by the Muslim rulers as part of their usual attack on other religions/faiths (read “Islam and Many Ayodhyas in the World”, https://thecounterviews.in/articles/islam-and-many-ayodhyas-of-world/).
Problematic History Of Gaza
In a bid to survive, the Jews fled to other regions where they were subjected to another genocidal holocaust in the early and mid-19th century. Knowingly, the Muslim rulers built a permanent structure of hate (of Al-Aqsa mosque) at their Temple Mount site that has become a permanent source of frictions between Jews & Muslim after the formation of Israel in 1948. Centred around the Palestine, the entire middle-east and northern African territories have become a fertile ground for formation, operation and expansion of some 200-odd Islamic terrorist organisations troubling the entire world.
Gaza is that part of the Palestine territory from where numerous many jihadi attacks have been mounted on Israel right since its formation. These attacks were part of their Quranic ideology that doesn’t tolerate non-Muslims to prosper. The Islamic scriptures of Quran & Hadith also incite Muslims to mount Jihadi attacks to recapture any and all territories on which Muslims ruled earlier. Imagine what would be the outcome if non-Muslims of the world too take a similar resolve to liberate all parts of the world which was earlier ruled by them.
The above Islamic belief is why the land of Israel carved out of the Arabian territories has become a bone of contention for the Islamists to liberate. Initially the neighbouring Arabian States tried to crush Israel but received bloody nose every time in return. Thereafter, they adopted a different tactics of founding various jihadi organisations to attack them but that too couldn’t succeed. Various attacks by them are shown in the text box below. The Jews of Israel had firmly stood united with their Govt in their struggles of the past. Jihadi attack of 7th Oct 23 was neither the first one nor will be the last as long as Islamic terrorists remain in Gaza or the West Bank. That is why Israel had taken a resolve to decimate them.
The Present Israel-Hamas Conflict
In the beginning of the present conflict, Israelis did back their govt but pain of the near and dear taken hostages, are breaking the will power of the families (read “Could Israel be Defeated by Own People?”, https://thecounterviews.in/articles/could-israel-be-defeated-by-own-people/). They are increasingly becoming weak links in forcing own govt to accept the blackmailing offers by the Hamas Jihadists on their terms. Qatar, a proponent of Islamic terror organisations wants to be seen as helping broker ceasefires with the Hamas terrorists to return some hostages in exchange for numerous many Palestinian criminals in Israeli jails.
After the end of “Phase-1 of the Second Ceasefire” on 02 March 2025, Israel has started pounding the Hamas positions in Gaza again. This time, Hamas seems in difficult position with several of its leaders eliminated. There is one unprecedented event that has taken place in Gaza this time…that hundreds of Gazans have protested on the streets on 26, 27 March 25 for the acts of Hamas due to which numerous many Palestinians are getting killed, wounded and facing immense persecutions.
Such protest had never happened in the past 18 months despite nearly 50,000 Gazans dead and over two lakhs injured in retaliatory attacks by the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF). There however, has been a larger question to the various international agencies, ‘Are there any innocent civilians in Gaza?’. Even some of the hostages (e.g. Mr El Sharabi) narrating their woes at the UN mentioned that by and large all Gaza civilians were hostile towards them as if a party to their being held captives.
In the >18 months of Israeli military offensive against Hamas 7th Oct 2023 genocidal attack on Israel, the 2nd ceasefire was brokered on 19 Jan 25 which has ended, leading to the IDF attacks being resumed. Various ceasefire bids are enumerated in the text box below:-
The Language Jihadists Understand
It is noteworthy that Jihadi organisations understand only one language, the language of violence. They are like a ‘Jinnah within Aladdin’s lamp’…to be kept occupied or else it would harm the master. It is the similar to the story of “Taal-Betaal”, the servants of Lord Shiva. Either you keep them occupied or be killed. Jihadists too probably know only one language, the language of violence. Hence, they are often kept directed against each other, to keep fighting. This also explains the numerous sectorial violence going on amongst different Jihadist groups who behave like devils. Jihadi fools have been convinced by their Mullahs that they represent the wishes of their Allah and they must obey the commands of their commanders even if that amounts to sacrificing their lives. That will be for a greater cause of Islam. They have also been assured that even if they die committing jihad, they will be honoured by their Allah with 72 hoors (read “Busy God Supplying Hoors”, https://thecounterviews.in/articles/busy-god-supplying-hoors/).
A larger question arises as to how do the civilised societies of the world communicate with the Jihadists? In the language of violence? Should they behave in the similar manners that Hamas Jihadists behaved on 7th Oct 23? Should the non-Muslim nations too form violent non-state actors who could commit similar atrocities on the Muslims to show them their places? This could lead to the murders, rapes and taking Muslim men, women & children as hostages for blackmailing their families and State at a later date like what Hamas is doing? Could the Jews/Christians/Hindus form such non-state terror groups behaving like devils? This is the language and devil acts that Jihadists understand. Will the non-Muslim world be able to reply in those dialects and deeds that Jihadists do? Perhaps not. It is unfortunate that in the case of Hamas atrocities, UN/UNSC along with some nations have tried to endorse Devil’s Rights (read “UN/UNSC Endorses Devil’s Rights”, https://thecounterviews.in/articles/un-unsc-endorsing-devil-s-right/).
Hamas-Hezbollah are only two terrorist organisation that Israel has been able to give a bleeding nose. Houthi jihadists of Yemen supported by Iran, has been flexing its muscles every now and then. What about the other >200 jihadi organisations in the world? In fact, the middle-east has become the hub centre of numerous many Jihadi organisations. Jihadi territories extend to Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia etc on one side and the African sub-Saharan regions on the other. It is beyond the powers of Israel to combat the numerous many jihadi organisations alone and there comes the need for the non-Muslim nations to unitedly take on them (read “Time for the World to unite against Jihadists”, https://thecounterviews.in/articles/time-for-the-world-to-unite-against-jihadists/). It will require all non-Islamic nations to take on the jihadists in their influence areas. Boko-haram, Abu-Sayyaf, Al-Shabab and several others are already creating havoc in the African continent. Hence, it is time that UN/UNSC/UNHRC takes a call to get rid of them…BUT…they seem highly reluctant (read “Muted UNHRC Response Encouraging Islamic Genocides”, https://thecounterviews.in/articles/muted-unhrc-response-encouraging-islamic-genocide/). They will continue turning blind eyes towards Islamic Terror groups spread all over the world.
The Recent Gazan Protests Against Hamas
Back to the present Gaza situations, there are few indications that some Gazans even if handful, are getting uneasy of the mounting casualties among civilians to which they are not concerned. They neither endorsed the 7th Oct 23 attack on Israel nor they are party to the hostages being held. Having played the victim card for over a year, they are turning their voice against the main perpetrator, Hamas, who committed those crimes. It is a highly unexpected event. The same men, women and children of Gaza who had become human shields for Hamas against IDF attacks for a year and half in which tens of thousands of them were killed, are resorting to protests. Is it the voice of their hearts & souls asking them to become humane or these protests have been organised by their handlers as an optics to the international communities to pressurise Israel to permit free UN aids? It is a fact today that several nations have changed their opinion on the hostages being used as blackmailing tool. That is why there is no serious voice criticising the present Israeli attacks on Hamas positions in Gaza. In fact, US Administration has reiterated that hostages must be released unconditionally else Hamas should experience hell.
The world witnessed during the recent hostages exchange that the present Hamas cadres are in receipt of bullet proof jackets and advanced assault rifles shown above, that must have come in some of the trucks carrying aid to Gaza. So, IDF may have a valid point to stop the aids till Hamas returns all the Hostages safely. When will all these ordeals of hostages as well as of the Palestinians end, is anyone’s guess BUT surely the terrorists must not be let to have their own way. It is a shame for the UN.UNSC/UNHRC to enter the blackmailing deals.
The Bottom Lines
Hamas and similar 200-odd other Jihadi organisations of the world understand a single language and acts called barbarism. These acts are enshrined in their religious scriptures on which they are founded. Their Allah tell them to usher in acts of terror into the hearts and minds of the non-Muslims in the form of Jihad and that is what they have been doing. This is what Hamas has done on 7th Oct 23 in Israel. For the entire length of time in which IDF has pounded Hamas positions in Gaza, Islamic clerics seem to have convinced the non-Hamas Muslims to stand as human shields for the Jihadists. In the process, some 50,000-odd Palestinians have sacrificed their lives. Was it for the cause of Islam? They only will know the answer. BUT could the non-Muslim world speak the dialects of barbarism and terrorism that Islamists do? Possibly not.
The resumed attacks in Gaza may or may not be justified but that is the only way that Hamas may be compelled to return the hostages without blackmailing the Israelis. There are some recent developments which indicate that Gazans are possibly turning against Hamas terrorists. How effective this could be, time only will tell.
