West Bengal a Victim of Islamic Conspiracy?
Happenings of recent targeted atrocities on Hindus in Murshidabad district of West Bengal are worrying and more worrying is the attitude of the state govt in either remaining indifferent to it or even supporting the culprits. On top of all these, inaction of the Union Govt is beyond comprehension as to why they should not have intervened in this border state where Islamic terrorists from across the border are also active. History will never excuse the Muslim community of that state in committing the various atrocities on innocent Hindus as well as the Muslim-appeasing government of Mamata Banerjee in remaining indifferent to their plights. Mamata Banerjee is riding a tiger of radical Muslim voters in which substantial numbers of illegal Bangladeshis and Rohingyas are also present. She knows that the day she dismounts the tiger, she will be mauled.
The radical Muslims of West Bengal have their main ethos of forcing their neighborhood into Islamic Ghettos by their age-old mantra of terrorizing the followers of other religions & faiths. This traditional mantra is “Convert, Flee or Die” that Muhammed (whom they consider their prophet) had given in his time in the 7thcentury to terrorize the contemporary Arabian Tribes. The same mantra is enshrined in their Quran & Hadith with an additional atrocity of levying Jazya tax on them for the Jihadists to let the non-Muslims live in their vicinities. It is a form of their Jihad that they impose in the territories of their numerical dominance. Kashmiri Pandits have undergone genocide in the same manner in 1990 when the Union Govt of VP Singh witnessed it mutely with inaction and now when it is happening in Bengal, Modi Govt is a silent witness with similar inaction. In Jammu & Kashmir it was a pro-separatist Farooq Abdulla Govt and in West Bengal it is Mamata govt, either supporting the radicals or reluctant to act against her vote-bank.
There is a growing anger against West Bengal Govt in the entire nation amongst the Hindu populace as to why is she mum on Hindu Repression in the State. Muslim politicians of her party as well as in Jharkhand (Md Hafizul Ansari) openly claim that they would convert the populace to Islam and enforce Sharia law which they consider above the Constitution of India (ref https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://www.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3D-Z9MHVN6cxc&ved=2ahUKEwjVrKrH6duMAxXHUGcHHTXDGygQwqsBegQIDhAF&usg=AOvVaw0B4fK0V280eHTFO_YNoL3R). These utterances are not in isolation. Every now and then some or the other Muslim leaders of opposition parties undermine the authority of the Constitution saying Sharia law is above the Constitution. They have uttered the same in Telinipara, Sandeshkhali and elsewhere in past to frighten the Hindus.
Criminalized Politics of Bengal
Bengal politics have been long criminalized from the times of long reigns of Communist terrors. Voters in 70s & 80s were at risk of losing lives if not voted for the ruling communists. Mamata Banerjee formed TMC and her appeal somehow attracted the helpless Bengalis as well as the rogue elements of Communist cadres. It is the same lot of Communist goons who joined TMC. Many of these goons were the jihadi elements of Muslims who did not migrate to Pakistan during partition and wanted to continue in India using their terror links. Initially Communists gave them political protection and now TMC is doing the same. In West Bengal, Farhad Hakim, a minister in Mamata Govt, spoke of his intent to convert the people into Islam and got away with no action taken either by State or the Union Govt. It is true that TMC leaders ride their electoral mandate mostly on Muslim support both of the Indians as well as the illegal immigrants. Bengal police have been directed verbally by the political leadership not to act against the radical elements of Muslims. Muslim radicals have vandelised even the police stations in past and burnt it with the police mutely watching it. Life, dignity and honour of non-Muslims not aligned to TMC, is in great danger in West Bengal. This is not the first time when Hindus are being abused in West Bengal in own land. It is also a fact that half a dozen of Bangladeshi and local Jihadi organisations are active there. Mamata Banerjee seems to have a criminal mindset when she uttered that she would slap the PM, she also claimed that she will not enact the union law on Waqf. In past too, she has disregarded several of the constitutional provisions including National Register for Citizens (NRC). There is no reason why she should be let continue as the CM of the state.
Violence Intended to Create Fear Among Hindus?
Coming back to arson & violence in Murshidabad indulged by radical Muslims in the name of protest against the new Waqf Act is absolutely unacceptable. It is beyond comprehension as to why the radical Muslims protesting against the new Waqf Act should have attacked the Hindu families living in their neighborhood and looted/burnt their shops. The persecuted Hindus were forced to flee from own lands to the neighboring parts of Bihar and Jharkhand. It was highly unacceptable for the Union Govt to have kept mum in inaction. There are many provisions in the Constitution of India to act against Bengal Govt which has made numerous many Hindus fearful, compelling them to flee for safety. Article 355 and 356 specially authorizes the Union Govt to take necessary steps to protect the rights of the citizen in any of its states. Yet, Home Minister Amit Shah under Modi govt has been dragging his feet in initiating action. It is very sad that Hindus are persecuted in own nation. This has not happened for the first time. TMC cadres of Mamata Banerjee have committed similar atrocities in 2021 post-poll violence too when men were beaten, women were raped, and their homes burnt….and all these because they had voted for opposition parties in the state election. Numerous many of them had fled to the neighboring state of Assam and the Union Govt failed them at that time too. Whether now in Murshidabad or earlier the 2021 Post-Poll violence, even the UNHRC have closed their eyes from the atrocities on Hindus of the State of West Bengal.
Why is the Union Govt Watching Mutely?
All above point out to the barbaric rules of earlier Communists and now TMC governments. There is not a shred of doubt that Bengal has been gripped for decades in criminal politics. However, a larger question arises as to what is the Union Government doing? Why are they not responding to the feeble cries of people under persecution? It can be understood that UPA govt was corrupt, incompetent and marred with policy paralysis BUT why is Modi Govt not taking corrective measures. How are the illegal Bangladeshis & Rohingyas finding shelter there? There have been several attacks on Hindus in past. TMC goons have even indulged in post-poll violence against sympathisers and supporters of opposition political parties. Cadres and supporters of BJP were attacked after 2021 polls. Some were killed, many injured and scores of women dishonored. Waves of terror created by the Islamists whether in West Bengal now or in Jammu & Kashmir in past, only signifies the risk to the native Hindu population by the altered religious demography in those states. Modi Govt knows very well that radical Islam when in numerical superiority, is incompatible for peaceful coexistence with other religions & faith. As their numerical strength is increasing with rapidity, their real faces of cruelties are evident (read “Muslim Behaviour in non-Islamic Nations”, https://thecounterviews.in/articles/muslim-behaviour-in-non-islamic-nations/). Indian Constitution has given freedom of religion but it has not allowed breaches of Fundamental Rights by radical Islam which follows the hateful Quran in letter & spirits (read “Gross Fundamental Rights Violation in Many Verses of Quran”, https://thecounterviews.in/articles/gross-fundamental-rights-violations-in-many-verses-of-quran/). Even Apex Court of India is turning blind eyes to it otherwise when Md Rizvi has filed a petition against hateful verses of Quran, the Supreme Court should have formed a multi-ethnic team of experts to determine if the allegation was tenable. The SC blundered in blindly rejecting the petition. In fact, the hateful verses of Quran have become a bone of contention the world over. Not that the Union Govt is totally aloof of the situation BUT firmness in the actions is invisible. On the very first day of the violence in Murshidabad, the Union Home Ministry had sent a team of the BSF to assist the police in the troubled areas. A team of NHRC and NCW had been sent to the state for a firsthand account of the situation. Even the Governor of the state had been advised to take a look at the persecuted people to the disliking of Mamata Govt. About 500-odd citizens of Murshidabad had fled to the neighboring Malda Distt for the safety of their lives and honour. It is also learnt that the state govt had made no arrangement to send relief materials. The frightened Hindus are highly reluctant to return to their ransacked / burnt homes. It is quite possible that Mamata Govt will try to tamper the evidence before the NHRC team reaches to the spot. Dead Conscience of I.N.D.I.A Block
While all these murders, violence and atrocities have been committed by the radical Muslims of the state in the name of Waqf Protest, the deafening silence of the political parties of I.N.D.I.A block is baffling. This INDI-Alliance has not even condemned the violence indulged by the radical Muslims of West Bengal (and also illegal Bangladeshis). Congress, TMC, RJD, Samajwadi, JMM, DMK and IUML are the prominent political parties of this block. It can be expected that they will have no courage to utter a word against the Muslim atrocities on Hindus of Murshidabad. It is nothing but a dead Conscience of the INDI-Alliance. It is hoped that the Hindus of the nation would have taken note of these inhuman character of radical Muslims and their appeasers in INDI-alliance. It can be expected that Mamata Govt will be kicked out in the next election of the state.
It was the BJP leaders and their cadres who had come first for the assistance of the persecuted Hindus. Although BJP members could not prevent the murder of two innocent men, they tried their best to firstly provide assistance to the persecuted and secondly, raise the issues at all political platforms. That is why some of the actions by the Union Govt could be initiated in time BUT the most awaited action of imposing President’s rule to curb violence has not been initiated as yet. It is expected that the Union Govt will wait for the reports from the NHRC and the Governor before taking any action. However, it is a reality that West Bengal State Govt has failed to protect the lives and properties of Hindus in the Muslim dominated parts of the state.
The Bottom-Lines
The arson & violence committed by the radical Muslims in Murshidabad in the name of protest against Waqf Law is highly condemnable. It appears that it was not the protest against the Waqf Act but a deep-rooted conspiracy of the radical Muslims to terrorise and drive away the Hindus from the Muslim dominated localities. It is a strange reality in India that while the Muslims in Hindu dominated areas are safe, Hindus in Muslim dominated areas are highly unsafe. In the current Murshidabad violence, about 500-600 Hindus were made to flee and local police didn’t come to the help of the persecuted Hindus. This is not the first time that Hindus in Muslim dominated areas of West Bengal have been made to flee. While it is the complete failure of the law and order of the state govt, even Union Govt cannot claim to be unblemished. If any, West Bengal is the most appropriate state of India where the Presidents Rule should be imposed.
