Costs on the Americans were substantial both in terms of lives and monetary. The loss of lives have already been elaborated above and the financial costs too are huge. Although the financial aid to Afghanistan was just around $144 billion, a rough estimate of the cost of US combat operations as of December 2020 stands at $824.9 billion since FY-2002.

It is unfortunate that United Nations, its Security Council, the various Human Rights Groups and the World Food Program has been ignoring the huge human and financial costs imposed by the Jihadists in the recent decades. Some of the non-Jihadist violence too have been the reasons of suffering in other nations. The time is come when the warring groups considered responsible for the famine, must be asked to compensate.

प्यारे देशवासियो ! जब कोई महा लोभी नेता या राजनितिक दल सत्ता के गलियारे से बाहर निकाल दिया जाता है तो उसे जनता की हर दुर्दशा दीखनें लगती है चाहे कुछ बढ़ चढ़ कर ही क्यों न दिखे। लेकिन जिस दिन ये बरसाती नेता या दल सत्ता में आ जाती है वह सबकुछ भूल कर अपनी तिजौरी भरनें लगता है।

गत वर्ष के शुरू में जहाँ देश में ८.५ करोड़ लोग गरीबी रेखा के नीचे होने चाहिए थे वहाँ अभी ८० करोड़ लोग मुफ्त की राशन ले रहे हैं।ये ७१.५ करोड़ मुफ्तखोर कहाँ से आ धमके।लगता है मुफ्तखोरी अधिकाँश भारतीयों के डीएनए में ही है…फिर ये खैराती बाँटने वाले चाहे राहुल गांधी, केजरीवाल या मोदी सरकार ही क्यों न हो।

काश कोई ऐसा मंत्र भी होता जो ' जन्तर-मंतर' पर धरना देने वालेनेताओं के सिर से देशविरोधी कार्य करने की प्रेरणा देने वाले भूत-भूतनी का साया उतार देता और उन्हें देशहित में सोचने, कुछ करने की प्रेरणा दे पाता।
