The new announcement by the Indian PM is a welcome step towards protecting vulnerable groups. Sooner than later, the younger people with comorbidities too should be included for the booster esp those having taken their 2nd dose >6 months back. However, the pace of vaccination is far from satisfactory. Modi govt will be unable to fulfil its promise to the Supreme Court, of vaccinating its entire eligible population. Modi govt may also be failing in its obligation to proactively curb the super-spreader events taking place on electioneering by both ruling and opposition parties. The ball is in PM’s court to take some tough decisions.

O World. I am Jihadi. Allah has created me for mounting Jihad on all ‘kafirs’ of the world. I aspire to fulfil our Allah’s wishes to convert the world in to Islamic Caliphate. It is concluded that millennia and centuries old religious discord in India has been somewhat kept under carpet for too long…to evade public debate by the present day ‘vote-bank’ politicians. It is obvious that Islam is increasingly turning into an intolerant religion, at odds with almost all other religions & faiths of the world. Hindu grudges against Indian Muslims, esp against their radical elements, have been increasing in the last few decades and apparently nothing much is being done to redress those issues.

Amidst the see-saw fluctuations in Indo-Bangla relations over decades, the Vijay-Diwas remains a major milestone in history. In the initial years of independence, Bangladesh did show their obligations to India. It is worth remembering that large numbers of Indian troops had laid-down their lives in the liberation of Bangladesh. However, hawks in religious-hate politics within Bangladesh have started taking a divergent approach. Radical Islamic powers of the country have started seeking allegiance with Jihadist forces in Pakistan and BNP shows full intent to harbour such forces. The present govt has been able to keep the jihadist elements at bay to some extent esp those pertaining to Indo-Bangla relations.

गौ-पालन कुछ दशकों पहले तक सम्मान का विषय था, आज पश्चिमीकरण की मानसिकता ने गाय के स्थान पर कुत्तों को पालना एवं उस पर हजारों रुपये खर्च करना अपनी प्रतिष्ठा का विषय बना लिया है।

ये तो भारत सरकार एवं स्वास्थ्य कर्मियों की महानता है कि ईंट-पत्थरों की मार खा कर, गालियाँ सुन कर भी दिन-रात कर्मयोगी बन इतने लोगों का टीकाकरण कर, इन्हें जीवन जीने का वरदान दिया है। जहिलता से भरे लापरवाह लोगों की भी जीवन रक्षा हेतु भारत के स्वास्थ्य कर्मियों की निःस्वार्थ सेवा की कितनी भी प्रशंसा की जाए कम ही है।
